This has worked for me; delete the transmitter info in the computer, save and exit the setup menu then add the info back in just like a new setup. My computer picks up the transmitter almost immediately, hope it works for you too.
This worked for me in Grand Cayman last week: Turn off the transmitter in the menu, save the change, return to the Normal menu, then reconfigure the transmitter to include the serial number. After I did that I didn't lose link the rest of the week (12 dives). Hope this helps.
