The calculations are easy. The problem is the gas heats up when you fill and the pressure drops when it cools. I have found two ways:
Allow the gas to cool and top up to the correct pressure
Add a bit more gas to allow for cooling.

Surely this argument is moot as a cylinder is only considered oxygen clean for 15 months after the last clean, even if only filled with modified E grade air.

I use a smart car. It takes the rebreather, drysuit, bailout cylinder and all the other bits that go with it. There's room for an occasional spare cylinder or tub of sofnolime. Not much room for a buddy
