For Sale Canon 5d Mark Ii Ikelite Housing

I have a Canon 5D Mark II Ikelite housing with tray that I need to move. I upgraded to a 5D Mark III after the old camera went swimming without me. The housing has been overhauled by Ikelite (at the factory) and is in pristine condition. The TTL board was also replaced at the same time. It’s...

    ScubaPro Seawing Nova durability/warranty replacement

I work for a SCUBAPRO Authorized retailer and I've seen three pairs come back due to breakage during the last year and those were used and abused heavily (and we've sold hundreds of pairs). All three came from Divemasters/Guides that had more than 150 dives a month. In our shop, we replace...

Difficult decision on the weekend - did I do the right thing?

You did the right thing. You may be new to diving which also means that you may be a bit more conservative about some decisions because you are lacking experience. Unfortuantely there are very few mistakes that you can make at 60 feet and live to tell about. Be careful. And as a side...

    Crap! Crap! Double Crap!

Something that helps me equalize more easily is being well hydrated. I do a bit of freediving in addition to scuba and find that if I'm not well hydrated I have a tough time clearing my ears on during a freedive. May have something to do with the sinus passages?!? Being well hydrated also...

Any reports yet on the Ikelite AF 35?

I've got an AF35...bought it for my Sony DSC350 point and shoot. It takes great pictures. As with any lighting system you've got to get in the water and play with it a little to make sure you've got the exposure set right (on the stobe). It's got an automatic setting which works pretty well...

what reasons have you seen people not pass certifications?

You know the drill; they did thier pool work with someone else, three weeks later (due to crappy weather) they checked the weather forecast on a Wendesday, set up the trip, and then drove 200 miles for the certification dives for the weekend. Weather guessers got it wrong. Once that deposit is...
