At the moment im training to do a padi open water and i am having some trouble with the mask clearing. Every time i put the water in my mask and i go to clear it, the water goes up my nose which i can't stand. Has anyone got any tips?

What your club is doing sounds great, a real contribution to the enviroment that your club dives in. I am also a big fan of recycling my materials. I think what you have written should be a reminder and an inspiration to other dive clubs all over the world

This sounds like an awfull story :( shame on the instructor! However i wouldn't let this scare any new scuba divers, 99.9% care about student other anything else, and once you are certified scuba is a very safe sport.

I am soon to be going on a discover scuba dive however the only question i hvae is, does the air your breath taste any diffrent to normal air? Thanks for your time Michael
