There are six possible configurations for the placement of three people and only one for a pair. The third person just creates too many possibilities for bad things to happen. I've dived with three only once and based on that experience will never do it again.
Dive safe and often.
Here in the Northeast - Long Island, NY - at this time of the year we either go to the Carribean or dream of it. I'm going to Curacao in Jan, and Puerto Rico in Nov. In between I'll do a lot of looking at magazines, and, from May to Oct, doing local dives.
Happy Holidays to all!
I'm going to be staying at the Marriott in Curacao and need information re dive oprators - does anyone know who the operator at the hotel is? Has anyone dived with them? Any comments? Any way to get in touch with them?
Thanks
Just my .02 worth - I dive with integrated weights and find they are much more comfortable when I'm in the water than with a belt. On-board is another matter. I now wait until I have the BC on, but not tightened, before putting the weights in. This works for me; everyone seems to have worked out...
I have to agree with DVG - the bottoms of oceans, lakes, etc aren't one level, so no dive is going to stay at one depth for its duration. The best advice is still "Plan your dive and dive your Plan," and ascend slowly.
Safe diving!
