You wouldn't probably want to place the GoPro on your head as the bubbles tend to get in the way a lot when you film. Have you looked into using a chest strap?

Actually, I haven't paid a lot of attention to the gear that I rent as the only issues I have had are free flow and having the correct weights. But I am looking at getting a travel bcd and a decent reg that could be used once can get to dive deeper. I have no plans to dive in a cold water...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm actually looking at the cressi travelight as I want a BCD that's compact and light for travelling. Will have to look into that as there is a shop that sells them at a really low price. :P

Thanks all. The first gear I have ever purchased is a Suunto D4i as I realized that renting a dive computer won't do for me. After that I got fins, gloves, and a mask and snorkel. I also want to pursue higher certification (AOW, Rescue, DM, etc) but not in a real hurry to do so. :)
