    For Sale Scubapro S550 $189

The S550 is related to the S600. The closest production of this regulator was the S360 (same regulator different face plates) This reg is the same as a S600 but does not have a user adjustment for air flow. It does however have a dive/pre-dive switch. New hose New mouth piece color white...

    “Assembly fee” after vis

We do not have an assembly fee, I was just saying assembling the tanks is a built in cost during a visual inspection process. Trying hard to explain that I do not charge for a VIP then an assembly fee on top of that. The VIP covers the inspection and putting them back together.

    “Assembly fee” after vis

And our VIP - Fill - Hydro is $50 So it's only a $10 dollar difference. I don't see a big gap here.

    “Assembly fee” after vis

If someone brought me new cylinders that were disassembled the VIP and assembly fee would be $15 and the fill would be $10 for a total of $25. This is our same fee if a tank is brought in put together with air in it. We do not really make a distinction between tanks that are brought in new or...

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

Contribute to what at this point. This thread is so splintered I don't even know what we are talking about anymore. Many of you have said you don't believe what I have stated, which is straight from SP. Do you think all the money SP has spent on engineering, testing, and development means...

I thought you guys didn't like sales pitches haha. But Id be happy to talk about 17 function.

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

As per SP technical instruction... if you aren't trying to catch me in saying 2nd stages have an IP haha... if we are trying to get optimal performance at lower tank pressure.. IP is set for the lower tank pressure and is where also to tune the 2nd stage to its desired cracking effort.

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

I have made 0 false statements. In all seriousness what issue are you having with your pilot?

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

Our only blunder is not telling someone who makes 10 dives a year over the span of 2 vacations that if they don't have a $1000.00 reg they will die and not be able to breathe well. Just about anything will work for them. I believe that if they decide to purchase ANY SP reg they will have years...

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

Yes in the context of the reply... the reg in question was being called a bad design for balance issues. I was saying the inverse IP is done on purpose. Do other similar regs have similar IP inversion obviously yes.

And I have said nothing contrary to that.

    Mk17 vs Mk17 EVO

You want me to write you a tech novel on here about how piston and diaphragm regs work, cause I'd be happy to. Thats not really what the discussion is about. We are arguing engineering quirks that people either say is smart or complete bull ****. I am obviously on SP's side here. Members here...
