I'm with TS. For diving off the Delaware coast I find that steel HP100s give me that extra margin of comfort/safty over AL80s. They're also easier to deal with on a boat than doubles -- especially where there is a possibility of rough exits in rising seas. They balance very well in the water...

Seriously though, I have a set of Atomic Splits that work fine except for a tear from when I had to use them as a shovel to dig my car out of the snow after a dive trip. $110 in 2000.

Years ago I did my rescue course at Milbrook at this time of year.
When I went below the thermacline without a hood it felt like someone was driving needles in my head.
Did the vendor provide any explanation why they couldn't provide the original manual that should have come with the product?
The manufacturer seems to be treating the product as subject to their warranty. They may have an issue with the vendor, but it sounds like the manufacturer solved...
This is one of the reasons my wife and I prefered Brac. You'll get at least one trip to the LC walls, but the Brac sights and under pressure and quite nice.
