Shane and Robin held a fun rebreather class for a friend and me. He was a truly a very nice guy. Almost everyone in the San Diego dive community knew him in some way. This is a tragic loss for us. We all send our condolences to his family.

I do this; one cord on each side of the crotch strap. I also have a D ring on my crotch strap near the backplate. I clip the SMB to it so that if it falls out of the bungee cords I won't lose it.

When you say the "cuff of the glove simply goes over the DUI Zip seal "ring"," are you referring to a glove that simply stretches over the Zip ring? One without a ring system of its own? Those seem popular now. Less hassle than ring systems. Which glove did you buy?

Per the grapevine: 1) The dingy from a San Pedro boat (not Pac Star) ran over a crew member who had been diving. It was not fatal. 2) A day boat from San Diego left a diver at the dive location, but he was fine. I prefer not to mention which boats because I wasn't there.
