Never seen a wolfish while diving. Nice find. Currently you are not allowed to keep them while fishing. And the 1 cod you can keep in the gulf of Maine makes it hard to justify a fishing trip. Hopefully both species will rebound.

Great idea. I didn`t know the drunken seal was open for breakast. When I shore dive I go down a little further to town neck beach. I get there early in the a.m. park, dive and leave. Havent gotten a ticket yet.

I dove there about 3 weeks ago from shore. No problems, only saw a few lobsters but still a nice dive.

That's great you have that many members. I'd check out a meeting but the stars would need to align because of on call work/family obligations. I'd be hanging out with the geezers because I'm approaching 50 quickly. I do think the big shots in the industry need to do more to get young people...

This is a great idea. Hopefully it will help younger people get into the hobby. Not enough young people diving locally these days. I may try it if you can fit a good IPA in the tube.

I haven't heard of any spearfishing divers being bothered locally. Although I don't think there are a lot of people spearfishing here. Mostly lobster and scallop hunters.

For cape cod bay, it really helps to have a boat, doesn't have to be a big one. That being said there are good shore dive locations like Sandwich (shallow enjoyable easy dive). As far as the sharks are concerned, since I boat dive, I am much more concerned about finding the anchor line at the...

I'd love to see the mechanics of kayak diving in action. I use a cheap plastic one to get out to my mooring and have to be very careful when I climb into my boat. I've ended up in the water a couple of times. If I'm around I'd make the trip up to the north shore to watch.

I like this idea and think I will use it. I always carry a smb anyways so might as well attach a flag to it. I can't stand pulling a flag around.

This is an awful tragedy. I did not know the diver but from what I've read he was very loved by family and friends. My condolences go to the his loved ones.
