I have been waiting to fix the bugs in our website before announcing this.
We have established a network of 15 underwater geocaches throughout LIS, RI and MA.
The caches are official geocaches, in that they meet the requirements of Groundspeak and are slowly being published on geocaching.com
They are composed of a 4 inch PVC pipe (green) with a concrete base and removable lit. They are designed to remain in the water and can be open underwater. Inside is a slate for people to sign and room to add trinkets (traditionally seen in land based caches). We will have geocoins made up for next year if not sooner.
