    TBR Sidemount?

Fair enough yeah, really I was wondering how often it happens and what the overall attitude of the ops are toward it. I have no real problem with breaking out the yolks and backplate, just wondering if I can save the weight and bother by packing sidemount and doing single tank dives. If given...

    TBR Sidemount?

Howdy! So last year the wife won a DiveHeart raffle for a free trip to turquoise bay. Pretty jazzed about it but I do have questions as it will be our first trip to Roatan. We arrive in late June. First, I generally am cave diving in our local Florida springs so I don't get much time in back...

Dayo scuba in winter park should fit the bill. Give Denise and TJ a call and they will sort you out.

    Ride The Goat

Haha to be fair Chris did deliver on all the package contents forever ago. The goat has been a logistical challenge on both sides. Pete is prepping the area still though up at his place for it. No regrets!

    Equalization Blocks

That may have done it, but I ended up switching to the ocean reef. The rubber pegs feel better to me.

For Sale OTS Guardian FFM and Ocean Reef Space Predator FFM

So I got two FFM's as wedding gifts back in September and we have since then really pushed into Sidemount and Technical diving. As a result, we have not got to dive them, ever. The wife is looking at some shiny new Kayaks so we figured we would free up some funds as we have not had the chance...

    What's your personal scuba-related curse?

100% accurate. Though that might be a curse as well.. I mean spending time, in a hotel room, with @The Chairman , in the north florida backcountry.... I must really like wet rocks.

    What's your personal scuba-related curse?

Ugh don't talk about it. The second I hit overseas highway to largo the sky's open up and pour their hate down upon me. I haven't been able to catch a boat down there in a year and It's only a 5 hour drive.

    This physically hurts to watch.

So on those later pictures, their bottles look to be clipped off on the waist, same side, and neck only? That's different. Honest question for any PADI tech instructors here. Is that normal? If so, what is the reason behind it?

Hollis Katana - One size does not fit all

You actually going for a dive trip!? Vic must be ecstatic! I still want to get some beers up in cave country sometime.

Hollis Katana - One size does not fit all

Yeah I 100% agree. The heaviest tanks I dive on the regular are cave filled faber 85's and that thick ass bungee was kinda overkill. I would love to have a spool of it for other stuff though haha.

Hollis Katana - One size does not fit all

I will say, I was not a fan of the bungee material included in the katana. It was certainly high quality but I prefer a bit more stretch. So those were replaced asap. To the credit of the rig though swapping them out to another bungee was extremely easy as they are just tucked back into the wing...

    This physically hurts to watch.

Definitely some narcosis going on there yeah. They do bounce those bottles all over the deck later in the video though. Irreparable damage? Probably not. Sloppy and careless, especially on the instructors part? In my limited experience I would say so. I get what you are saying with the looking...

I agree, and I certainly do not see the students in a negative light. I personally have had my share of horrible dives which were entirely on me. That instructor though. I am just flabbergasted at his performance and apparent low bar for success. I like to think I'm a funny guy. I will be in...
