Those dirty dogs! I am less and less enthused about Delta in the past 12 months. They have made some changes that really rubbed me wrong. And the service, even in front of the plane, has gone down drastically.

I noticed more Delta CZM flights direct from MSP (Minneapolis). I WISH they would route that one through Detroit- but we get 3x CUN flights daily instead. The MSP route for me is about the same travel time as through Atlanta, but the flights are much earlier, so makes for a very long travel day.

So close! Who are you going out with that has the trips locked in?

Yes, that is plan B right now- I wanted Villa Aldora to be in a quiet spot, with shoreline for afternoon/night dives if the boats don't fill up. I really enjoy CM, but wanted to be out of the hustle and bustle. Blue Angel is full the weeks I can sneak away. Can't win them all I guess!

Thinking of doing stay/dive with Aldora at their place for a trip in March- but I have to eat an actual meal (not granola bars and fruit) before diving or I am STARVING by halfway through the first dive. Is there breakfast onsite or close by? I know the boats leave early, so I am guessing even...

Looking to book a trip for later this month or March 11-15 or so- Do any shops do guaranteed (i.e even with xx # of divers) morning and afternoon dives? Traveling solo and I like to get in as many dives as possible on my short escapes. Thanks!

If you are traveling in the next 1-2 months, this is a very windy time of year. We were there in February 2022 and there was no diving the whole week we were on Kona (aside from sheltered shore dives) . I am glad we had other stuff planned- might have to keep flexible until the day/week of...

Awesome video and glad you had a nice trip. One of my November journeys there was THE BEST and we got some great animal encounters and weather. That parrot fish was an absolute unit- what a beast!

You could ask for a higher floor room- facing the courtyard (inside) I believe Tres Pelicanos dive shop packages booked at Casa Mexicana are generally high level floors with good rooms. That is what I did before and really enjoyed it. No noise to speak of. Great breakfast buffet and easy walk...

Agree- I try to do 4-5 dives/day, so am usually so tired it does not matter. But if I remember, it went late (like 2-3 am) on Thursday to Saturday. I had an upper floor room so that probably caught more sound than main floor.
