Aborted 1 out of 40. We took a left turn a bit too early to get to the dive site (we were doing orientation training). We got caught in a strong current we kept going for a bit and looked to get out of the current, but quickly decided to ascend before getting carried away too far from the boat.

Thank you Geri! So what is it that brought you to the Canary islands? I was in Lanzarote last year just did 2 dives as I was travelling with a non diver friend but I got to see the Museo Atlantico, quite an interesting experience.

Very helpful for us who learned to dive in non english speaking countries and from non PADI world. And some pretty good jokes as well :)

This one sentence makes me reconsider Koh Tao as an option... I am looking at Divemaster then IDC courses and thought that Koh Tao would be a good option to gain valuable experience before moving on...
