    Swivels and reels?

I may be looking to much into it but my thought is using the swivel u can keep one hand on the reel and one hand on the line the whole time. Where if u flip the reel u have to remove one hand and u have a chance at dropping or fumbling the reel and depending on the dive that could have the...

Nice didn't know they made them also don' want to pay 90 to 150$ for a jump spool. Hoping I can find a bag of 5 stainless steel ball bearing swivels for 10$. Hoping someone with experience in using these either pros or cons can shed some light on this. thanks for the reply

    Swivels and reels?

Has anybody heard of using ball bearing swivels (like for use with fish) on jump reels to keep them from getting a nasty line twist. Apart from the obvious of adding a potential failure point I do see some advantages to doing this. Reel retrieval would be much easier and when you're running your...

The lower part of p1 was a little sility but wasn't bad past that as well as the waterhole but that could have been due to other divers going...

    Tank boots on or off

I like that idea it's mainly for standing them up in my house I have tile throughout my house so it's a pain to lean them up without sliding. I'll just take them off for diving and leave them on while there at home

    L.p 85 or l.p 95

Thanks I don't mind carrying the extra weight I dive with a single 120 l.p. now and it's not bad. I'm looking to single the 85 or 95 for now then doubling them up later. I'm wanting to fine tune my buoyancy and with the 120 its not to bad but kinda of a pain but I like it for making multiple...
