We like to travel around to different places, but we may return to Quintana Roo again next year, for the Cenotes alone!

I'd be concerned with a 11 minute lay-over, if it was in the same concourse as your incoming flight, let alone going thru customs! By the way....if you ever have a choice....NEVER go thru Atlanta customs!! OMG!! :rant:

Indeed! Even when we were just starting out diving, (Our "Discover SCUBA" course in Cozumel) it was SO clear and beautiful in the area! DEFINITELY makes me want to come back!

Unfortunately, from what I have been reading on the dive shop sites, "The Pit" requires an Advanced Certified level. My wife and I are just Open Water Certified. :(

There's been issues and deaths ALL OVER THE NEWS in the past few weeks, and "Big Poppy" of the Red Sox, was shot in a bar there.
