Mickey is diving with Reef Gliders these days.

I did mine with Reef Gliders and it was a great experience. Have friends who did with West End Divers and raved about it as well. It's hard to go wrong with any of the mentioned choices.

I did my DM with Reef Gliders last summer. Despite the "coup" and subsequent downturn in tourism, I loved every minute of it. they are a great shop with really smart group of instructors. I think that there are a lot of places in Roatan that would give you a great experience.

We're mostly shore diving but we'll be out with Ed's on the 27th and 29th. Flew in just in time for sunset tonight and watched a whale do a full breach from the lanai of our condo and then watched tons and tons of whales playing until it was dark. I'm more than a little excited! d

Last night around sunset the police drove down the street in west end announcing the sunset curfew. The previous nights it had been barely enforced around 10. Businesses shut immediately and the roads were deserted soon after. It's unfortunate, we feel a world away from the events in the capital...

I just got back from my second trip diving with Reef Gliders. they have moved since I was there last and are in a much bigger shop just past the church and Jackson's, by the path to Lighthouse restaurant. I love diving with those guys, great people and now a great new shop.

I'm usually very careful but three boats a day for a couple months and you start to get complacent. I was running for a morning dive and didn't have the normal time to put in. No one to blame but myself but that's usually the case...

A tiny little corner of my silca gel pack snuck under the O-ring. It was a slow leak but by the time I could get up it was already toast. Bummer...
