    DAN data

I would tend to agree with this as well...I am just now getting back into diving after taking a little while off due to always seeming to dive with the wrong type of buddy. It took a very frightening experience that happened to me while cave diving to make me realize I need to make better...

    LDS vs on-line purchase?

My LDS has always cut me deals, especially when I am buying several things at once. There has never been a time that I have gone in to buy something and they haven't come close to matching another LDS or the internet. One other thing you have to consider is that if you do buy from the LDS, if...

If you were going to dive in Florida...

I did my very first ocean dives out of West Palm and Jupiter Inlet...nice drift diving, pretty reefs and the sea life was incredible. I ended up not preferring ocean diving and getting into technical and cave diving, but of all the ocean diving I have done since, that was the best! I believe...

Is padi rescue diver really worth taking,

I will say that my rescue class was one of the more physically demanding classes I have taken other than my cave classes. My instructor had us doing a lot of swimming, with and without other victims, with and without gear on. I am a lot smaller now than I was when I took my rescue class, but...

    MP3 players

I have an IRiver and I have used it during cave dives. You can still clearly hear sounds outside of the music so I don't believe it is a distraction for me. It has never been an entanglement hazard or anything like that either. I do however have some dive buddies that are not comfortable...

    Newly Intro to Cave

Congrats to you both! I too took my cavern and intro with Nick. He has always been great. I hope to take full cave in the spring with him. We are leaving next Friday to come back down for a week of cave diving......staying at Bill's. I can't wait! Good luck to both of you!

Divers Needed for Travel Show Pilot

Yes....they should.....they have no idea what they are passing up if they don't hire us....we have the looks, the personality.....the amazing diving skills, and I could learn about fish if I had to....I hear we have a great "fish teacher" in the area.......LOL

Divers Needed for Travel Show Pilot

no doubt......that is terrible, we all know a good looking girl could sell this easier than a guy could, or.....you could hire me, along with a nice looking guy........now I think I'm onto something!

    Cavern vs. Cave Diving

I would take him up on that if I were you.......Jackson Blue was where I did my cavern class.....and my first cave dive. It is a beautiful cavern with plenty to see, it is a larger cavern so you won't get bored with it easily. Spend some time with people like this that are willing to give you...

    Cavern vs. Cave Diving

OK.....I will cater the wedding....you buy the food.....I make it and serve it in trade for full cave.........for me............Meister is on his own!

    Cavern vs. Cave Diving

The best advice I could give to you.....never dive at all unless your head is in it. It sounds to me from your previous posts that you may have some underlying "issues" with your buddy to begin with. A cavern or cave is not the place to be with those things in mind. I myself am intro to cave...

Double HP100s for Cave or NOT??

I have used both in caves.....my preference is the HP100's which is what I am diving now for my doubles dives. I am a very petite girl and find that the 85's are just a bit too long for me. Especially when trying to maneuver a scooter, I have a problem with the tanks hitting me in the head and...

    Seriously Thinking

I talked my guy friends into coming down to Florida to do my AOW class and in the process we ended up doing a cavern class. At first it was just to find out if we liked caves and to improve our skills for wreck diving as we all live in the midwest. Needless to say we all ended up longing to...

Glad you all had good experiences.....after ordering a custom drysuit, receiving it and having it not even close to fitting......sending it back after much delay.......then filing a credit card dispute......he finally refunded my money.....minus $80 for the difference between canadian and...

Differences Between Men And Women In Diving

The very best thing about being a female diver, I was at a VERY crowded quarry over the weekend diving, I needed to go to the bath house to use the bathroom, when I got in, there was a line for the mens bathroom, walked right into the womens room, that just would never happen anywhere else!
