Hey mitchdives, my wife and I are heading down on the Crown this winter. I'm curious about your choices and how things worked out. We are not doing any check-outs, so we're looking to pleasure dive in both locations. Any feedback is most appreciated. Thx!
My wife and I seriously considered buying on Brac. We have since decided to do long term rentals. We are recently retired but still working part-time. It's going to be a couple of years before we can make it all come together due to kids still in college and 4 legged friends called basset...
SOLD!
I have a NIB Deepblu Cosmiq+ for sale. I am a Sales Ambassador and planned on diving it, but never got around to it. I will ship free for asking price. Thanks.
Well, don't give up on the place. It sounds like you got a raw deal! Most of the rooms are pretty freshly renovated. If you go there again, telephone L&M about 2 weeks beforehand and request a beach side unit. They may very well accommodate you. We have never had a bad unit there and have stayed...
Sorry to hear about your room at Morritt's. We've always had good luck there. Which building did you stay in? We normally stay in a ground floor unit in the Wembley.
I've never gotten totally blown out on the north side in February. The best diving is on the east end (summer or winter). Ocean Frontiers tends to take you to the calmer side. Both South and North have beautiful walls out east.

Cruise ship arrivals are seriously curtailed during the summer months. I wouldn't worry too much about them. Nonetheless, it is prudent to check the schedule.
It was about 3 years ago. Definitely a second-rate operation. Nice people, but too many issues. I would prefer to use an on-site operator, but we went back with OF for the remainder of our boat dives. Convenient? Yes. That's about it. We always avoided Tortuga/Red Sail because we were told that...
Butchered eagle ray found in East End | Cayman Compass
My first encounter with an eagle ray happened two decades ago and it was such a spectacular experience that I'll never forget it. I was exploring a rock outcropping in St. Croix (macro stuff). As I came over the top of it, an eagle ray...
GCM was surprisingly easy today. The Saab was on time and when we swung around to check baggage at American Airlines there was no line! Security line was about 10 minutes with both scanners actually working. Our flight out of GCM pushed back about 20 minutes early. Easiest Saturday afternoon...
