Pool for DSD is a large indoor community pool. LDS doesn't have their own pool, and rents a lane. I don't know how common it is for LDS to have their own pools in other parts of the country. There are something like 13-15 dive shops in the Chicago area, and to my knowledge (internet searching and taking to people) only 2 have on site pools (I use one of those pools for working on my own with a buddy). I went with my own dive shop for goddaughter's DSD class. She was taught by my OW instructor. What's more important- a good instructor you trust a child with or a pool on the cooler side? I'll take the former, without question.
