Could you give a bit more info about the steel 100, please

Okay, upon further evaluation I think it's actually XS Scuba brand. (you can read X7-100 barely on the 3rd picture below) They were most likely purchased in 2011. (which is the year I got into diving)

Also, that picture was terrible, so here is more detail and without the BCD. I don't remember how much the weights on the front and back are. (might be 2 front and 1 back, 4/3 front and 2/3 back, or something in that ballpark)

(I'm not in the local area, but on the subject of used tanks)

Most information, such as the manufacture date, can be determined by looking at the engravings at the top of the tanks. The photos are hard to read, so it might be easier if you typed out what is written at the top of each tank, even if you don't figure out what the markings mean yourself.

10 year old tanks aren't really "old", they're just considered used.

Anyway, when I'm shopping for used tanks, the info I always want to know is:

* Steel or Aluminum, and size.
* Manufacture year. (Generally avoiding pre 1990 aluminum tanks.)
* Date of last hydro and VIP. Expired is fine and common, but it can factor a little into pricing.
* The valve (din or yoke, or manifold)

Shooting you a DM shortly

I've been advised that I should provide better markings, so here they are. Left back and right front both show the X7-100 markings and their opposites show the XS-SCUBA marking.

To really show the markings maybe you can make a pencil rubbing to really show all the numbers.

They are not for me because going to Tampa is not convenient these days, but if I was still interested I'd want all the info.

I sent a PM a few days ago. I live nearby and would like to buy 80s....

Here is what I think I could decypher off of the 2 steel tanks. (Disclaimer, use this info at your own risk, I'm not 100% sure it's accurate)

??C-SU4957-230 BAR
REE 75 3 X7 100

??-3442 TP5250
??? 11 M 8004 XS SCUBA

Perhaps the one piece of missing info that I'd like to see if I were to buy these tanks (I'm non-local, so I can't) is the manufacture month-year, and the manufacturer of the tank marked `230 BAR`
