Hey, thanks for posting that pic Dave. I just finished editing my video footage of the event and the little octopus crawling out of the bottle came out quite nicely.

Not all of the octo encounters were painless; one of the trash sorting volunteers was actually bitten by an octopus on the back of her hand. Yes, they are advised to wear gloves when handling trash; if I had seen her, I would have repeated that warning. It actually drew blood.
Yes, I saw that. I forgot to get video of the bloodied hand. Good thing it wasn't a blue ring octopus!
