Got a XS-Scuba tank for xmas. It's got the convertible DIN/K valve on it. My SP Reg is 300 BAR DIN and the valve is "230 Bar". The reg doesn't screw all the way in to the valve because it's a few threads longer...will this be a problem? My old steels had 300 bar valves and the regs screwed all the way in.

No, it will work fine. It is only the first couple of thread that engage to secure the reg.
