Does anyone have any expirence with the DIVE RITE NITETEK TRIO or the ZEAGLE N2ition 3 Dive Computers? I am looking at computers able to switch three gases. Any advice?

Per your thread about "Switching to DIR," I'd recommend against a 3 gas computer. It's unnecessary if you're diving DIR, as a bottom timer or gauge mode is used.

Woohaaa, nice...put him in his place :) Your brain will be your computer, if you can trust it :)

....I'm using Cochran GEMINI 2 and 3 gas AI computers, but unfortunately have no experience with the units you're asking about......

I have no specific experience with either, but I know three people who dive/dived the Nitek:

  • First guy often has to tie it to a weight and hang it off the back of the boat for quite a while after some dives to get it to clear, for no apparent reason
  • Second guy calls his Nitek the "Bend-O-Matic"
  • Third guy literally just threw it in the river behind his house in Florida and never thought about it again
Your mileage may vary...
