For a primary? The UK SL4 has a pretty narrow beam, which makes it useful for a backup or looking under rocks, but IME doesn't work well for a general purpose light.

The Nemo is pretty cool. Personally I use a UK C8 which is OK by me. The 8 C cell lights are generally 12 or 13 watts, whereas the 4 cell ones are more like 6 to 8 watts. A few of my buddies use the Princeton Tec Shockwave. Both are nice, but I've been thankful for the spare bulb built into the C8... one bulb blows during a dive, just rock the switch and your light comes back on. LP has a bunch of 4 and 8 cell primary lights for $60 or less.

The UK SL4 is built like a little tank and is great as a backup or for day time diving. Its tight beam is great for looking into holes in coral or under things.:)
