I have a shot at 4 new al 3000psi tanks in as new condition. Should I buy them. I'm a new diver and this would be my first collection of tanks.

I know that aluminum is more pos buoyant than steel, but dang ... $95 each is a deal me thinks.

I have to leave to pick them up in a short while ... thanks for the input.

New, they're about $140. You figure a hydro is $50 for 5 years, so subtract $10 off for every year since hydro, and if the vip isn't current, subtract about $15.
