does the fact that it's out of stock have anything to do with the price?

I remember when I thought I was bad ass with my $100 2GB Microdive.
Nevertheless the price is $88 - with an $80 mail in rebate. Not $8. There is a big difference between the two.
It wasn't out of stock this morning. I guess everyone is jumping on a good thing. It's a lexar rebate, so you can get it anywhere and get the $80.00 rebate. I already have 4 cards so I will pass. I just thought I would put it out there for anyone that needs a great cf card for cheap.
