One of the few sites around Palos Verdes where we can experience current is Pt. Vicente. I've had dives here where we looked like flags on our downline or were swept along the reef suddenly. I now avoid those dives, but today we had a mild current at Biodome that continued to grow. We were hoping to make a second dive here but my camera was being pulled toward the stern while clipped off to the side of our boat. We headed for Halfway Reef instead, but we still had a decent dive before the water picked up speed.

I found a rockpool blenny in a hole that I can find again. My photos weren't very good, but maybe next time I can hold still. At the surface, a juvenile sea lion circled the wagons for several minutes before we left.
