A strange quality issue with my new / 2 month used... Zeagle Ranger :

I bought this Ranger from Dolphin Scuba ( May 2014 ) >> and suddenly The rear carry fabric handle, began crumbling?!?
and eventually was torn away....
The handle is made from fabric that is wrapped around a hose - and now you can actually see the hose...

It is not a "stitches issue" ....the fabric itself crumbled?

1. Has anyone faced this kind of problem ?

2. I don't have any idea why this " weird rubbing effect" happens ?
I wrap the carry handle around the tank valve as every one do,
and there isn't anything "in the way" that can actually cause this

3. what do you advise me to do ?
( Btw. couldn't even find a replacement ... )

THX in advance

Mine ripped completely off one day. DM was using it to lift my gear - tank/weights with it. I'm sure there was a way to replace it but I never bothered.
Maybe you cut it on a tank holder and it ripped from there.

In 2010 this was the part # - not sure if it still applies to the new Ranger. Zeagle part # 7284 - BC Carry Handle

Oops. Just saw this was in Zeagle forum.
