I read my DAN mag fairly regularly and they get to asthma and diving quite a bit. I was wondering if there are any potential complications involving asthma and accelerated decompression on oxygen. I've seen hints of it in online forums and I'd like to be able to respond when non-divers ask.

thanks

Dear Diver42:

Concerning asthma, I would not expect problems with oxygen per se. A more specific answer from a physican is needed.
