We just got off a cruise that went to St. Maarten and St. Thomas last week. We skipped diving in St. Maarten and went to Orient Beach for the day. So glad we did. It was a great day. Then we dove in St. Thomas with Admiralty Diving. They are not associated with the cruise ship but were able to pick us right up at the pier. They were terrific and we were glad we chose as we did.

My best advise is save your money, why do so many people staying on St.Maarten take the ferry or fly over to Saba for a day of diving? I know of one SXM dive operator who regularly sends divers to Saba to keep them happy. The reefs around SXM took a beating from hurricane Omar.
