I'm not sure if this post belongs here or on an equipment forum...

But here goes, we are taking a Nitrox course in a week and I see from reading the course materials that one requires an analyser to verify the O2. Is it common for the dive shops on Curacao where you are renting the enriched air from to have an analyzer to use, or must I buy one of my own.
thanks a bunch!

Anyplace with EANx will have an analyzer.

The materials may give the impression you need to get your own. While this makes sense for some people, for many it doesn't. The sensor in an analyzer has a finite lifespan and isn't cheap, so if you're not using it a lot, it could average out to a fair amount to check each tank. And as said, anyplace you get Nitrox (well, 99.8%) will have an analyzer for you to use. Won't be an issue in Curacao.
