aladin 2g question

So I just got a wrist mount aladin 2g today and I thought it was going to come with the inferred adapter to hook up to a computer to download the dive info. My question is.....can i just buy any inferred dangle that is sold on ebay for $15 and less. Scubapro wants $55 for it. I already have the software (came with the 2g). Thanks in advanced!!
