Alternate band for Tag Heuer

I have a Tag Heuer WG1112-KO that I wear as my every day watch. I'd like to wear it diving, but it doesn't have the "expandable" metal band (done through the latch) like other Tag Heuer watches to fit over the thicker wet suits. As you can see from the attached picture, it doesn't have the standard pin connection for the band.

It did come with an extra leather band that uses the first links next to the watch face. However, leather doesn't work too well under water for some reason. Has anyone ever heard of or seen a rubber watch band for this type of watch?

I would try going into or calling a torneau (sp?) corner watch store. they are the largest TAG dealers in the US and if anyone has a different band it would be them.
