Annual Catalina DWADD May 2010 - Thur. 5/13

Greetings to all my SoCal Dive Pals!
I will be visiting Long Beach and want to dive Casino Point on Thursday 5/13. Who wants to join me? It's a couple days before Scuba Show.

The May 2009 DWADD at Casino Point was a blast and I made many new friends and dove with new dive buddies. It was awesome day for everyone.

Last year included: clammy, scubasam, crdkats, teamcasa and his lovely bride, DB and tekdivegirl and of course Dr. Bill.

OMG... the infamous picture resurfaces.

It's on my calendar and I'm 99.99% sure I'll be there... although the travel distance and time is a bit much for me!

Catalina on 5/13 does sound like a good time. I had so much fun on your going away dive in Jan. I am 50/50. Curious, will the air truck be there on a Thursday? Hope you are having a fabulous time in Florida.

Well, let's just hope no one finds another 50 caliber round in the dive park... the Scuba Police (er, I mean the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department) closed the dive park yesterday because such a round was found. We find them occasionally due to the World War II gunnery training that occurred at Casino Point 65+ years ago.
