Not everyone really enjoys the 2" weight belt webbing tight around their mid section.
We put a pair of shoulder strap pads inside the waist strap, one on each side of the buckle. The we added a couple of welded D rings/tri-glides.
The waist strap is now very much like the cumberbun on the Stiletto or Ranger models.
It's nicely padded and now holds it's shape. And the padding behind the welded D ring protects the diver while the D ring stops the padding from sliding.
This seems to work with either 519-WS120 or 519-WS130 weight systems.
I have not dove with this yet, and I hope for feedback here if anyone else likes this idea well enought to play with it.
