Was wondering if there are hotels or areas nearby the hotels which have piers to jump right in the water or places near the hotel for shore entry?

I would like to fly into Ft; Lauderdale but am open to ANYPLACE in the state that has that type of diving as well recommendations for hotels.

Thanks,

Sy

Hey Sy,

Most of the good piers belong to the city, county, or state. Although I wouldn't jump off them in scuba gear, there are a lot of nice places to do a shore dive. Ft. Lauderdale is home for Marvel and others who I'm sure can advise you of some great lodging close to some diving.

Enjoy your vacation and

Good Diving/Hunting,

Navarre has a condemned pier thats divable- just walk from hotel down to the water. It's a beach entry.

Breakers in west palm. No pier, but easy shore entry. Was on a dive charter "the wetter the better" when they pulled offshore to breakers to pick up divers there. they just swam out to the boat.
