I still want to do a night dive at venice sometime in the near future. Anyone want to join me.
I got to beleive that the wildlife could be interesting after dark.
Fred

I'm interested, but the next couple of weeks are spoken for. When were you thinking?

Fred, check out this thread: http://69.93.91.170/t44554.html, some talk of sharks at night in low viz conditions, just something to think about. As for that weekend, i believe Rick is planning (we discussed last night) going to Boynton for our AOW deep, wreck and night dives, not sure if that might perk your interest or not? Following weekend some of us are going to the Ginnie BBQ organised by DSW.

See you this saturday. What about a night dive that night? I was thinking of heading down to Jupiter for sunday, but the boat was booked out with the LDS i was planning with, so thats a no go as well, so sunday afternoon looks open at the moment.

I've been with them several times already, no big deal.
Low vis is the same dark or light. More affaid I might find a sea urchant with a knee than a shark.
Fred

Might be interesting to give that a try. Vis at Venice has never been real good any time I went so a night dive might give it a new spin. Maby next Saturday eve ?

This saturday we are going, 3/27 and others on 28th. Next weekend i believe is some kind of fossil hunting festival or something 4/3-4, you might get crowded out, i know of several LDS's running trips there, so get in this weekend, whilst the going is good!! See this newspaper report:

I would consider it for sure for the 17th April date.
I too am attending the Ginnie shindig.

Chuck

Would love to do a night dive, but it will have to wait until we have a dive party over there.
About the sharks...Folks fish for sharks on the same beach that I dove at this weekend. Is there a difference between there and venice? I don't think so. With this frameset, I would not be worried bout sharks...I would get spooked from those fish that hid under the sand and dart out as soon as you get near!
