Anybody know what this is???

Took this picture in about 75fsw in Haliewa Trench yesterday. Anybody have a clue what kind of shrimp this is? I can't even find it on Keoki's website.

that looks like one of the shrimp you find on the bottom of a cusion starfish...not sure though....moving this to the Name that Critter forum

When found it was on an urchin spine.

Interesting, might be some kind of an urchin shrimp then......

It is. The purple body & white stripe belong to Stegopontonia commensalis which is only found on urchins.
