I just got one for the kids and have been playing the Endless Ocean game. I'm not real big on video games but this one is really neat.

Yep, my husband bought the game for me and I love it.

I have been wondering if it will encourage non-divers to handle or feed wildlife the next time they're in the water... what do you think?

I also wonder if it is doing divers a disservice with the diving-alone thing (and much as I love them, I don't really trust my dolphin buddies to be able to help me out if I get into trouble!).

I would hope that no one thinks that they can learn anything about diving or interacting with ocean life from this game. It is cool to have a diving based game but there's really nothing instructional about it. It's just a nice ocean releted diversion for those of us that enjoy that kind of thing.
