I am in the market for some additional tanks and before I head off to the guy in Portland, I figured I would see if anyone on here has some. I'm looking for steel tanks, specifically a 72 and 100 / 117 / 120 / 130s with DIN valves. In hydro preferred, but not essential. If you have some you don't use anymore sitting in a closet, please reply. Depending on where, i should be able to come pick up in the next week or two. Cash paid.

I have an old lp 72 that needs to be stripped down and have a tumble done. Hydro refused because the tech saw "something" in/under the coating and didn't like it. I was planning on reviving it but not sure if I have the time or care. Lots of work for little gain.

Is it a thick vinyl coated tank?

Pretty sure it is. I'll go check it tomorrow when I run by my dad's
I'd risk $25 on it. I know that's not much, but...

We can chat over it once I figure out what it is. I put it up in his garage when it came back from hydro without being tested. I have 9 other tanks so I didn't give any thought to trying to salvage it.
