Anyone on Le Mahe Feb 25 - Mar 1?

My wife and I are diving on Le Mahe shortly and hoped to meet any of the other divers or staff before heading out there.

We also hoped to get a room at the Royal Phawadee Village, but they're booked up. Can anyone recommend a similar boutique hotel for $50-100/nt at Kata or Patong?

Simon, the Manager of Le Mahe is out on the boat at the moment. He calls it work but I reckon that he is taking full advantage of the amount of marine life that is being spotted around there presently.

For accommodation do a google on the Divers Inn (Simon is 1 of the owners) in Karon or check out the sister establishment The Kata Villas at www.katavilla.com

The Kata Villas are nicer as they are conveniently located directly opposite The Southern end of Karon Beach. Simons partner Axel owns the villas and I am quite sure that if you mention you are going on Le Mahe they will be able to help you.
