Hi I have an E-520 in an Olympus housing with a 50mm macro and a couple of other lenses.

Wondering about this Sigma lens it has some good write ups and wondered if anyone is using it and what ports/extensions are needed and what results are like?

Anyone else using a larger zoom ie greater than 50mm underwater as well?

To keep this short the Sigma 105 macro has good image quality but does not work all that well in the Olmypus housing. Auto focus is slow was the first conplaint from users, It using a gear for manual focus the auto retract feature in the camera needs to be turned off as one lens was damaged trying to retract while the gear was engaged. Athena makes a port for the lens with 67mm threading for C/U lenses.

Most Olympus 50 macro users have chosen to go with the 1.4 tele converter and the port extension from Athena or Olympus. I use both the 1.4 & 2X tele converters for extra reach with the Athena port and add C/U lenses as needed.

All images full frame, images 1 & 3 with 50 macro and 1.4X tele converter, images 2 & 4 with the 2X tele converter.
