Apeks XTX-100 Dust Cap

I have recently bought a kit including the XTX-100 regulators. I noticed that on the first stage the dust cap is not connected to anything when the first stage is actually on the cylinder. This means that you have to put the dust cap in a pocket or somewhere else. I have, however, noticed that there is a little ring on the dust cap to attach some sort of mounting hardware, is there meant to be something used to mount the dust cap with the regulators or do you decide what to do yourself?

I have XTX 50s. Mine's onto one of the hoses with 2mm accessory cord.

I prefere to have my caps in the regulator bag when i dive, then its dry when i put it back.

But most caps are tied too the regset in one way or another.

the hole on the end of the dust cap is supposed to go thru the screw of the yoke like this
