Appropriateness of "the scuba experience" for spec-needs

I would think aswell that if she gets passed the initial experience of being underwater then she will probably gain more confidence than she ever knew she had! I'm sure that your local instructors will have their own visions of what a safe depth of environment would be for your child. I would only suggest you also learn as much as you can about the underwater environment (apologies if you already have previous knowledge) to know what type of experience your child will have.

My best friends child is autistic and i will shortly be devoting the time to introduce him to snorkelling and duck diving!
