Its official, Off The Wall Scuba has done it again, we have reserved the spots for the Aqua Cat leaving from Nassau Dock at around 6pm Saturday January 29th 2011 and returning to dock Friday February 4th for a night out on Paradise Island returning to Baltimore on the 5th.
The price was originally $2295 plus 190 taxes on the website. We brought the price down to $1995 plus 190 taxes and then decided to give half of our commission as a dive shop to the trip reducing the price to $1775 plus 190 in taxes, rounding out the price to $1995 for a 7 night 8 day live aboard trip upon the Aqua Cat, Scuba Diving Bahamas Liveaboard Aqua Cat Cruises, which will include about 26 dives total, with free options for shore excursions on private islands through the Bahamas and Exhumas.
You are responsible for your airfare to the Bahamas, but its reported that AirTran is currently booking $96 one way from Baltimore. So airfare is usually never very expensive to the Bahamas. In fact flights out of Regan (DCA) might be even less if you are looking to save some money heading down to DC.
We booked these dates based on the interest from your family and friends. We are looking for a $500 deposit per person to reserve the spots. Another $500 come July 15th. Another $500 on September 15th. With the balance by November 15th. This should space out the costs to make it an affordable trip to work to for everyone.
Keep in mind this trip includes everything you need for $1995. Now I do believe that if you are interested in putting more than 2 people per room, the price adjusts to $1750 for 3 people per room and $1650 for 4 people per room. So those are possible options. Each room includes its own private bath. I am not sure how many rooms can hold the three and four people.
