Just got back from Aruba and had a great time diving. My son and I did a total of 9 dives. We did south coast reef dives and a few wreck dives. One wreck dive was the Antila. South coast reef dives had good vis of 70 feet which I am told is good for that area. We used Red Sail. The boats were a little crowded but the DM's were great and they gave us alot of bottom time.
The reefs were on a slope that started at 15 feet and sloped down to about 130 feet. We started our dive at about 60 feet and followed the slope down to about 100 feet then made our way back up the slope to 40 feet and finished our dive at 15 feet for a safety stop. We saw eels, reef sharks, barracuda, lobster, and more.
The seas going down to the south coast were 5 to 6 feet. The wind is strong all the time The boat ride itself took 50 minutes to get there. So I got a little taste of what it may be like when I dive off the coast of North Carolina.
Had a great experience and will do it again.

Thought I would share,
