Good question. You would think they would jump at the opportunity to trumpet their superior products in relation to most other manufacturers, in addition to being helpful to prospective buyers & existing customers.

Also, you would think they would be supportive of the industry's largest scuba diving forum...

Maybe HowardE or NetDoc can better answer these puzzling questions...

Suggestion: go to the thread discussing the Atomic Aquatics Cobalt, & shoot a private message to RonR, who appears to be associated with Atomic & is posting on that thread. If Atomic doesn't wish to have a manufacturer's forum, I doubt they'll go into their reasoning publicly (some aspects of company politics just don't get aired publicly in most any large organization), but if they're open to consider it, it might plant the idea. That's if you want to ask them. Now, if you're 'calling them out,' that's different.
