Aussie Diving January 2013

Us too! I usually start packing 2, maybe 3 days before a trip, IF not the night before!
I actually packed and weighed most of my gear yesterday! 3 weeks early!
You would think we were excited wouldn't you!?

Great picture BOP, looks like you have been doing a lot of diving. That is definately a weedfish but I'm not sure what type, they can be hard to identify as the colour is often variable.

Unfortunately I got sick for a couple of weeks and then had other social events that prevented me from diving for a while. I managed to get out Sunday night but I haven't really had a chance to look through the pictures yet. The dive was great, I found two species of nudis I have never seen before and had a very friendly and large smooth ray decide he/she was going to follow me around for a while.
Stowing your camera is not much of an issue down here as the most common shore dives have easy entries and exits. Though some days I miss the light weight of a smaller camera but I love the Nikon D7000 and it's range of lenses.

Gypsyjim are you moving to Australia or are you just having a holiday?
