eh... no, not exactly, the equipment requirements for DIRF read: "reserve light powered by three in-line c-cell batteries". Niether the Delrin or Tec 40 variety of backup lights.

There's always the Pelican SuperSaberlite as an inexpensive alternative.......but there are some that don't like it.
I've had two of these for over a year now, they work GREAT. I paid a little under $50 for two, that's a tough price to beat. Even if I flood a couple, I still come out ahead cost-wise.
